Hole Two :If all the planets are attracted in a single curve created by sun why they are not moving around the sun in parallel rings of different sizes but similar shapes.
Hole Three : Why Sun creates egg shape curves for some of the planets instead of creating circle shaped curves in time fabric.
Hole Four : If time and space creates a fabric on which massive objects create curves and Earth is in the curve created by Sun then there should be no existence of TIME and Space between Earth and Sun as if the fabric has a curve there should be no amount of time and space in that hollow curve.
Hole Five: If all the planets are in a single curve and they exist on different distances from Sun the should have their places in the curve in a hierarchical structure(The closest planet to the Sun should be in the depth of the curve and the farthest planet should be on the upper external levels of the curve)

ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that you've misunderstood how the space-time curving works.
ReplyDeletedo you have a trampoline? if so, place a fairly heavy ball in the senter, and use a small light ball and send it from the edge towards one of the sides of the big ball. You'll see that the small ball changes path, and you can imagine that if there where no friction, this ball would continue to roll around the big ball in an egg shaped circle.
The curves that massive objects create in the space time does not look like the curves in your illustrations. It's more like this:

which, makes a lot more sense, and probably explain all the "wholes" you mention here.
But, to answer your "wholes" individually.
hole 1: the distance is difference, and past events might have effected how they orbit the sun. In the early years of our solar system, there probably was more then 9 planets, probably more than 14 or so. Over the years they have crashed into each other, creating moons, or merging completely, and also alter the planets orbiting path.
hole 2: Same reason as my answer for hole 1.
hole 3: it's not the sun that "creates" the orbiting paths for each planet. It all depends on what the planet have been through, it could have been affected by other planets, altering it's path. If you experiment with my example regarding the trampoline, you'll find that it it almost impossible to make the small ball circulate the big one in a perfect circle. Same thing with the planets, they all have different shaped circles because they had different conditions and events during the years.
hole 4: This "hole" doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I'm sorry. Time is defined by the light speed, but time is independent of it. Time is essentially one event after another. It has nothing to do with space-time, which is to hard for me to explain with my poor English :p
hole 5: Again, take a close look at the image i posted above, and keep in mind that this "fabric" is only for illustration purposes. there exists no such fabric that our planets rests on. This space-time fabric is only a metaphor used to explain how gravity works. The image I linked portrays an objects space-time distortion, in 2 dimensions. this warping goes all around the planet, in every direction, not only just out from the equator.
I hope this answered some of your questions and speculations.
Best regards.
About the Trampoline Project:
ReplyDeleteWhen ever we talk about time fabric many people give me this trampoline example.I would like to ask one more thing.
As we all know that it is not the Big and heavy ball but the gravity of earth that force the bigger ball at the center to create a curve and the same gravity forces the smaller ball at the edge to find the lowest point at trampoline. Why we always define gravity with the an experiment that has nothing to do with the objects of the experiment.
Take a big heavy ball and put it on the ground.now put a trampoline over this ball facing upside down. This time this ball will create a curve in the exact opposite shape of the previous experiment. Now put a smaller ball at the edge of the trampoline. It will not move round and round and nor it will move towards the apex of the curve because it is already at the lowest gravitational point. If you see the above mentioned image upside-down you will understand all my points.
Second of all this time fabric theory does not explains the gravitational effect between two equal objects. Two equal objects create similar sized curves in time fabric.Does this mean none of them will be attracted in the curve created by other one.
And yes , I feel time has nothing to do with gravity.
Time has everything to do with gravity. if your out in space, time stretches. everything is relative.
ReplyDeleteIf we put aside time fabric theory of relativity can you explain in your own words how time is related with gravity.
